How do I create my first SMS campaign?

  1. Go to the Dashboard
  2. Click on “New Campaign”
  3. Upload your contact list or select a saved group
  4. Write your message (160 characters max recommended)
  5. Schedule or send instantly

How do I import contacts?

  • Navigate to “Contacts” > “Import CSV”
  • Your file must include a valid phone number column
  • Optional: Add custom fields like name, location, tags

Sending SMS

Can I personalize SMS with the contact’s name?

Yes! Use dynamic tags like {first_name} in your message body. Example:
“Hi {first_name}, don’t miss our new offer!”

How many messages can I send per day?

There’s no fixed limit, but high-volume users may require sender ID registration, depending on the destination country.


Compliance

Is NORD SMS GDPR-compliant?

Yes. You are the data controller; we only process data on your behalf.
You must obtain opt-in consent from your recipients before sending marketing messages.

Can I use NORD SMS for bulk marketing?

Yes — but ensure your audience has explicitly agreed to receive messages. Unsolicited SMS is prohibited under EU and telecom laws.


Technical Help

Why are some messages not delivered?

Common reasons:

  • Invalid phone numbers
  • Opt-out recipients
  • Carrier filtering or blacklists

Check your delivery reports under “Reports” > “Details”.

Can I integrate with my CRM or website?

Yes, with our API. You can trigger SMS based on user actions, bookings, or payments.


Billing & Accounts

How are credits calculated?

One credit = one SMS of up to 160 characters. Messages over 160 characters may consume multiple credits (concatenated SMS).

How do I change my plan or buy more credits?

Go to “Billing” > “Plans”, or “Top up credits” from your dashboard.
